His unique style of playing that blends Afro-Cuban with contemporary influences and applying to the drum set along with a sense of independence that is unmatched has catapulted him into being one of the most influential drummers of his generation. In looking for a specific sound, aesthetic and durability, Raul worked with LP to develop a set of cowbells that truly represent the sound he envisioned.
